Arizona College of Technology at Hebei University of Technology was co-founded by Hebei University of Technology (HEBUT) and the University of Arizona (UArizona) in 2020 under the approval of China’s Ministry of Education This is a win-win collaboration between a prestigious, century-old institution and a top 100 university.
Hebei University of Technology, founded in 1903, is one of the pioneering universities to train industrial minds in China. HEBUT was listed as a “Project 211” university in 1996 and a “Double First-Class ” university in 2017. Three of its disciplines are among the top 1% in the ESI Global Rankings. Its education quality ranks 51st among all "Double First-Class" universities.
The University of Arizona, founded in 1885, is a world-class research university and a member of "Public Ivies" in the United States. In 2020, it ranked 85th in the U.S. News & World Report University Rankings.
